Eleven-year-old Maksym, who has a CNS injury and delayed development, needs support! Help the boy take his first steps!
Maksym Seneta was born in critical condition. Immediately after birth, he wasn't breathing. He was transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit at Okhmatdyt Hospital. Maksym spent his entire first year of life in the hospital. Ultimately, doctors diagnosed him with a congenital central nervous system defect and spastic tetraparesis.
At 11 years old, Maksym requires regular medication, monitoring, diagnostics, and rehabilitation. Thanks to his classes, he has learned to hold his head up, concentrate, smile, and try to sit up independently. He is calm and balanced, and enjoys cartoons, videos about the alphabet, and counting rhymes.
Maksym faces a challenging recovery process ahead, requiring significant effort to gain the new skills he will need for the rest of his life. He still cannot walk unaided. To continue his development, he needs regular classes with specialists, which unfortunately his family cannot afford. Support the boy!
