Eleven-year-old Anastasia, who has cerebral palsy and motor disorders, is persistently overcoming her challenging developmental journey. Support the girl!
Anastasia Figol was born prematurely at 30 weeks, weighing just 1.2 kg. For the first three weeks of her life, she was on a ventilator because her respiratory organs were not fully formed. She was also diagnosed with an infection and suspected retinal detachment at birth.
Anastasia was discharged from the hospital weighing 2 kg. Later, her parents noticed some deviations in her motor development, and doctors confirmed a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. This compelled Anastasia to begin her ongoing "fight for the future."
Every year, she visits rehabilitation centres and takes part in massage and swimming sessions. At six years old, she had surgery on her legs. After five weeks in a cast, her intensive rehabilitation began. She learned to walk with sticks and a walker, and to control her hand movements. To keep her progress, she needs your support!
