Seven-year-old Vlad has cerebral palsy and mobility issues. He cannot support his head, walk, or speak. Help the boy recover!
Vladyslav Redka was born prematurely with a critically low birth weight of 1,600 g and experienced brain hypoxia. He spent nearly three months in the intensive care unit after birth, beginning his and his parents' arduous struggle for his survival and health.
At nine months, Vladyslav developed a complex neurological disorder accompanied by frequent seizures. These were managed with medication, but it caused many negative effects and impacted the child's central nervous system. Vladyslav cannot now hold his head up, walk, or speak.
His current diagnosis is cerebral palsy (spastic diplegia), severe motor impairments, and speech development delay. Despite his challenges, Vladyslav smiles and enjoys listening to children's songs, and he is making efforts to rehabilitate. His parents are doing everything possible to improve his condition and are reaching out to anyone who can help!
