Sixteen-year-old Yaroslav, with cerebral palsy, is growing and suffering increasingly from spasticity. Help the boy access rehabilitation!
Yaroslav Haidaenko has been battling health and developmental issues for 16 years. Since birth, he has received several serious neurological diagnoses, including cerebral palsy and spastic tetraparesis, which was diagnosed when he was one year old. Now, like his healthy peers, Yaroslav is growing quickly, but due to his condition, this causes him additional discomfort, increased pain, and muscle spasms.
Despite this, Yaroslav is a cheerful and open-minded boy. He loves learning new things and goes to the pool, where he is learning to dive and swim. Twice a week, he happily visits an art studio where he studies drawing diligently. He is constantly engaged in speech therapy and rehabilitation and receives medication therapy. Four times a year, he attends rehabilitation courses at a clinic in Truskavets.
Yaroslav now studies at a mainstream school on an individual programme and has been promoted to Year 9. As he is now in his teens, his condition is worsening. Regular, intensive rehabilitation is now more essential for him than ever. Yaroslav's family asks anyone who cares to support him on his difficult journey and help him to live a full life free from pain and spasticity.

Diagnosis: Cerebral palsy, dyskinetic form. Spastic diplegia at the stage of reciprocal crawling, in the phase of pulling to stand. Gross motor impairment, level III according to the GMFCS classification.
Project goal: to raise UAH 21,084 to pay for a rehabilitation course at the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic
