When he was three years old, his mother started to notice unusual behaviors. He did not respond to his name or react to spoken words. Over time, his speech skills gradually vanished. His parents suspected autism, but doctors insisted the diagnosis was strictly neurological.
Unfortunately, the prescribed medication was ineffective. Yehor's family then turned to a psychiatrist. As a result, the current and relevant diagnoses were made: severe childhood autism, significant intellectual impairment, and a lack of speech skills due to organic brain damage and impaired functioning and adaptation.
Yehor is a kind and intelligent child who finds it hard to adapt to daily life in society. To socialize and grow, he needs regular help from specialists. Ongoing rehabilitation for him is a major financial burden for Yehor's family. Please support Yehor! Give him a chance to start talking!
