Three-year-old Evelina has a rare genetic disease and requires rehabilitation. Please support the child!
Evelina Zakharchuk was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder — Rett syndrome — at 1 year and 8 months. By that time, she had not yet started walking and was unable to stand independently. From birth, she exhibited signs of physical and intellectual developmental delays.
Evelina now has impaired coordination and balance, sensory deficiency, reduced understanding of spoken language, and problems with her vision and gastrointestinal tract. She is unable to care for herself. She is gradually acquiring new skills, attending rehabilitation courses, and working with specialists.
Currently, there is no available treatment for this disease, except for experimental gene therapy under development in the United States. Evelina is a strong girl eager to learn about the world. She requires regular rehabilitation activities to support her development and help her maintain her physical and intellectual abilities. Support Evelina!
