Tymur Dolyna is a 15-year-old boy for whom daily life is a constant struggle. From an early age, he showed signs of serious illness. He often lost his balance and fell, couldn't climb stairs, had difficulty walking, and lacked the strength to do simple household chores.
At six years old, he was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This severe genetic disorder can cause complete loss of mobility. When he was nine, Tymur suffered a compression fracture of the vertebrae after falling. Since the age of ten, he has been confined to a wheelchair.
Due to his illness, Tymur is unable to walk or stand. However, a special medical device might help him. It is an electric table with a verticalising function. As Tymur is now a teenager, his body is undergoing growth and change. He now needs to maintain an upright body position on a regular basis.
Using the verticaliser improves blood circulation and the functioning of internal organs, while also strengthening muscles. The tilt can be adjusted smoothly to help the patient gradually get used to the standing position, and the user can change the vertical standing function using a control button.
Tymur is an open, kind, and sociable guy. He is always eager to learn, loves world geography, and knows everything about dinosaurs. He dreams of traveling the world. Tymur is entirely cared for by his grandmother, who wants the best future for her grandson. Help the family purchase a verticaliser to improve the boy's life expectancy and quality of life!
