Three-year-old Maksym, who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, is diligently learning new skills. Assist the child in attending a rehabilitation course.
Maksym Yarovenko's fight for life and health started at birth. A difficult delivery caused hypoxia. Maksym was immediately taken to the intensive care unit, where he spent seven days on a ventilator and then another three weeks in the neonatal pathology department. He was fed through a tube and is still learning how to eat with a spoon.
Maksym's diagnosis is severe: grade 5 cerebral palsy, double hemiplegia, and structural epilepsy. Despite these challenges, Maksym is a very gentle and intelligent boy. He enjoys working with rehabilitation specialists and loves swimming with a trainer in the pool. He also attends classes with speech and language therapists, defectologists, and special educational needs teachers. Additionally, he enjoys walking outside and spending time with his family.
Maksym is now three years old. Constant rehabilitation is essential for him, but the cost is too high for his family. When he is not experiencing painful spasticity, Maksym laughs happily and learns new skills every day. He is already confidently holding his head up and starting to sit. Help Maksym attend his next rehabilitation course!
