12-year-old Andriy, who suffers from epilepsy and severe movement disorders, needs improved rehabilitation! Support the boy!
Andriy Latyshevskyi suffered a cerebral haemorrhage and internal hydrocephalus immediately after birth. On his second day, he was transferred to the intensive care unit. It took a considerable amount of time to recover from these complications, initially in the neonatal pathology department and later at the Institute of Neurosurgery, where the child underwent ventriculoperitoneal shunting.
Following surgery, Andriy experienced seizures periodically, which unfortunately worsened over time. From the age of two, Andriy began attending rehabilitation activities at specialised clinics, centres, and sanatoriums, as well as at home. The most beneficial for his health were the regular rehabilitation sessions at Dr Kozyavkin’s clinic in Truskavets.
Andriy is a clever and highly capable boy. He is currently in Year 7 at a gymnasium with an inclusive education programme. He moves around in a wheelchair and cannot write independently at the moment, but he enjoys communicating with his classmates and teachers. Help him to progress further by attending the next rehabilitation course this autumn!
