Bohdan Ogorodnyk was born after a difficult childbirth. During delivery, he experienced severe asphyxia. This negatively impacted his health, and he has now been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and mixed muscle tone.
Immediately after birth, he was taken to the intensive care unit, where doctors fought to save his life. He could not breathe on his own and was on a ventilator and receiving nutrition through a tube for nearly a month.
From the first days of his life, Bohdan has been taking many medications, including anticonvulsants. Since the neurologist approved rehabilitation, Bohdan's parents have made sure he receives all necessary therapy on time.
He now regularly attends physical therapy, massage sessions, and swimming classes, and works with a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist, and a psychologist. He is learning to feed himself, sit up, and roll over from his front to his back.
Bohdan is a very smart boy. He loves books and works hard every day to secure a pain-free future. Please help Bohdan's family pay for his next planned rehabilitation course!
