Eight-year-old Valeria, who has cerebral palsy and severe musculoskeletal disorders, needs intensive physical rehabilitation!
Valeria Chereshnya was born prematurely at 33 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 990 g, and was in serious condition immediately after birth. Due to complications during delivery, her development was delayed until the age of two. For a long time, she could not sit or crawl independently and did not start walking on time.
At the age of two, Valeria was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Since then, she has been working with specialists, undergoing physiotherapy, massage, hippotherapy, and taping. Over time, she began to achieve the first results of her hard work: she started crawling, sitting on her own, standing with support, and walking with assistance.
At the age of four and a half, Valeria experienced her first epileptic seizure. This caused a regression that most severely affected her lower limbs. She underwent her first surgery using the Ulzibat method. Unfortunately, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the seizures have become more frequent, and Valeria is now forced to take antiepileptic medication regularly.
Since then, she has undergone three orthopedic surgeries and is now awaiting another operation on her hip joint. After that, she will require intensive rehabilitation, which is why her family is asking for help. Please support Valeria in her journey toward recovery!
