Four-year-old Yan, who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, needs support! Help the boy receive rehabilitation and get ready for school!
Yan Zinkevich was born after a difficult childbirth, with one of the most serious complications being brain damage. This later resulted in diagnoses such as cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
Thanks to neurologists and rehabilitation specialists, it has become possible to find medication to control Yan's seizures and help him live and grow. Yan has learned to roll over, crawl, eat with a spoon, stand in orthoses, and say the word 'mama'.
Yan is a strong and intelligent young boy. Attending regular classes helps him to socialize and grow alongside his peers. He will soon start school, and his parents are working to teach him to sit at a desk and speak clearly, so he can fully participate in the first graders' celebration with the other children.
Regular rehabilitation presents a substantial financial burden for Yan's family. All their savings are spent on medicine and specialized nutrition for the child because he is lactose- and gluten-intolerant. Please help Yan access rehabilitation, learn to control his body, and get ready for school!
