Artem Romenkov's life began with a difficult ordeal. His birth was very difficult, and his parents immediately realized that the fight for their son's health would be long and difficult.
From the first months of his life, Artem was different from other children. He had difficulty holding his head up, and his movements were restricted. After numerous medical examinations, specialists gave the family the terrible news that Artem had cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, and hyperkinesis.
Since then, Artem's life has consisted of treatment, rehabilitation, classes, pain, and incredible effort. Massages, physical therapy, and working with rehabilitation specialists have become part of the boy's and his parents' daily routine. Every movement and every success, no matter how small, is the result of Artem's hard work, the work of the rehabilitation specialists, and the whole family.
To regain his mobility and continue developing, Artem requires regular rehabilitation sessions; without them, his condition may deteriorate. Each session gives him the chance to become stronger, learn to control his body better, and take another step toward independence.
Despite all the difficulties, Artem is an extremely kind, gentle, and bright boy. He smiles sincerely, watches his favorite cartoons with delight, and rejoices in every little thing.
