16-year-old Maksym is fighting for his life after a traffic accident. He can’t speak or breathe properly. Help him get neurorehabilitation!
Maksym Panchuk is 16 years old. He is a 10th-grade student at the Lyceum of Information Technologies in Dnipro. Before the tragedy, Maksym was an ordinary teenager with big dreams: he studied well, was fond of computers, independently built system units, was interested in programming, and wanted to make his future in that field.
On December 12, 2025, Maksym and his family's lives were split into “before” and 'after.” That day, he was involved in a serious traffic accident and sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. Since then, for over four months, Maksym has been fighting for his life every day within the walls of the intensive care unit.
He is currently in a minimally conscious state. Due to his condition, Maksym has both a tracheostomy and gastrostomy. He cannot speak or breathe normally on his own. However, he responds to voice, fixes his gaze, squeezes his hand, and shows signs of gradual recovery.
Doctors note positive progress. This indicates that Maksym definitely has a chance to recover. However, without professional neurorehabilitation, this opportunity could be lost. Currently, Maksym requires further treatment, stent placement, and comprehensive physical and neurorehabilitation.
The treatment cost is beyond what the family can afford — they have already used all their resources. Maksym's parents are going through intense grief. Their lives have changed completely, but they keep fighting for their son every day. Maksym is alive: he is close by and can receive help. Support the boy on his journey to recovery and back to life!

Diagnosis: Polytrauma dated 12.12.2025 (road traffic accident). Closed TBI: diffuse brain contusion, cerebral contusion grade III. Acute epidural hematoma of the left temporal and frontal regions. Intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH). Multiple fractures and contusions of various locations. Sequelae: immobility, complete chronic spastic tetraplegia; status post tracheostomy and gastrostomy.
The goal of the project is to raise UAH 350,000 to purchase medical supplies, medicines, and specialized medical nutrition, and to cover costs for further intensive neurophysiological rehabilitation.
