14-YEAR-OLD VLADYSLAV OVERCOMES THE CONSEQUENCES OF AN ACCIDENT AND INJURIES. HE HAS A LIST OF SURGERIES AND NEEDS REHAB. HELP THE BOY!
Vladyslav Kovalenko grew up as a healthy child. Unfortunately, in 2016, when the boy was 4 years old, a tragedy occurred. The Kovalenko family was in a traffic accident, and Vladyslav sustained a severe head injury, an open skull fracture, and numerous bruises to internal organs.
The boy was in a coma for 8 months and underwent complex head surgeries, including the implantation of a cerebrospinal fluid shunt system and a titanium plate in his head. Since then, Vladyslav has been struggling with the consequences of these injuries. His left arm is affected by hemiparesis. He has also developed epilepsy and progressive scoliosis.
Vladyslav constantly receives medication - anticonvulsant drugs. Unfortunately, as a result of injuries, he lost almost all his skills and is undergoing a long recovery process, learning to speak, sit, and walk from the beginning. Almost every month, the boy attends rehabilitation classes.
Despite all the hardships, Vladyslav fights bravely, finds strength within himself, and takes small steps toward his goal. He loves listening to music, is interested in musical instruments, enjoys communicating with children, and watching football. Help this sensitive boy with a huge thirst for life continue his treatment and recovery!
