7-YEAR-OLD TYMOFIY CANNOT HOLD HIS HEAD UP OR SIT OR WALK DUE TO SERIOUS PATHOLOGIES. HELP THE KID GET TO REHABILITATION!
Tymofiy Nadtochiy was born prematurely at 30 weeks of pregnancy, weighing 1490 g. In serious condition, he was sent to the neonatal intensive care unit and spent the first three weeks of his life on a ventilator. A few days after birth, the boy had a hemorrhage in the left side of the brain.
Doctors stubbornly fought for the baby's life, and in a few weeks Tymofiy recovered. After a series of examinations, the doctors confirmed a list of serious diagnoses: perinatal hypoxic-hemorrhagic encephalopathy, posthemorrhagic ventriculomegaly, and congenital malformation of the genitourinary system.
In total, the boy spent a month and a half in the neonatal intensive care unit. After discharge, Tymofiy was under constant supervision by doctors and rehabilitation specialists. From 9 months, he began attending massage courses and going to the swimming pool, doing exercises, and working with defectologists, speech therapists, and psychologists.
At age 1, Tymofiy underwent kidney surgery, and spastic cerebral palsy, motor disorders, open hydrocephalus, and delayed psycho-speech development were added to his diagnoses. Now the boy is 7 years old, but he still cannot hold his head up, crawl, sit, or walk independently.
He understands everything and diligently performs the duties of a rehabilitation specialist. Over the years, Tymofiy has completed many rehabilitation and hippotherapy courses, which have yielded positive results. Classes need to be held consistently, but the family's finances are running out. Support Tymofiy! Give him a chance to live a full life!
