4-YEAR-OLD TYMOFIY WITH SEVERE CEREBRAL PALSY AND EPILEPSY NEEDS SPECIAL NUTRIENTS. HELP THE BOY AND HIS FAMILY!
Tymofiy Tkachuk is the long-awaited child of his parents. He was born prematurely at 26 weeks of pregnancy and with complications during a difficult birth. When Tymofiy was 8 months old, doctors confirmed a threatening diagnosis – cerebral palsy, which now accompanies the boy throughout his life.
Now Tymofiy is 4 years old, and unfortunately, he still cannot walk on his own and can only sit with support. Despite his serious health condition and the consequences of the disease, he is a very positive, always smiling, and inquisitive boy. He loves to communicate and play with his sister and his dog, Bonya. He enjoys reading books with his mother and is interested in music and cars.
Epilepsy is also among Tymofiy's diagnoses, beginning at an early age. After a course of hormonal treatment, the boy began to eat very poorly. To ensure the child receives adequate nutrients and calories, the gastroenterologist prescribed high-calorie enteral nutrition.
The average cost of a jar of necessary special nutrition for Tymofiy is now about UAH 750. That amount lasts for several days. Together with the ongoing costs of the child's treatment and rehabilitation, providing special nutrition is a serious financial challenge for the family. Please support Tymofiy and his parents!
