8-YEAR-OLD LYUBOMYR WITH AUTISM UNDERWENT COMPLEX HEART SURGERY. HE WANTS TO DEVELOP, BUT HE STILL CANNOT SPEAK. SUPPORT THE KID!
Lyubomyr Zhmaylo was a long-awaited child. The boy was born on time, and the pregnancy had been normal. Immediately after birth, doctors discovered a congenital heart defect in Lyubomyr. After being discharged from the maternity hospital, he was sent to the neonatal pathology department for diagnostic confirmation.
When Lyubomyr was 11 months old, he underwent complex surgery at the Amosov’s Heart Institute. Fortunately, the surgery and the postoperative period were without complications, and the boy grew and developed. But after some time, the parents began to notice certain differences in the child's development.
Unfortunately, later the parents' suspicions were confirmed when Lyubomyr was diagnosed with autism. The family was shocked, but since then they have done everything possible to ensure that the boy receives proper care, medical supervision, classes with developmental specialists, speech therapists, and psychologists, as well as rehabilitation.
Lyubomyr is kind, always smiling, and inquisitive, interested in everything new. He wants to talk and communicate, but developmental factors currently prevent him from communicating fully. Lyubomyr is in the 2nd grade at a special school. Help the boy receive rehabilitation and become more independent!

Diagnosis: Atypical autism (F84.1) with cognitive decline to the level of moderate intellectual disability, severe behavioral disturbances, severe systemic speech underdevelopment, impaired self-care skills, and marked social maladaptation.
Status post-surgical treatment of congenital heart disease (Q21.02).
The goal of the project is to raise 30,000 UAH to cover the cost of a rehabilitation course at the Victoria Children's Rehabilitation Center.
