7-YEAR-OLD YEVA WITH AUTISM HAS DIFFICULTIES WITH SOCIALIZATION. HELP HER GET REHABILITATION AND BECOME MORE INDEPENDENT!
Yeva Petrova was born after a difficult pregnancy. During the first year of life, the girl developed relatively normally, but after a severe rotavirus infection at age 1,5, the parents began to notice a regression in the child's behavior. Yeva stopped responding to her name, and the skills and sounds she had already acquired by that time disappeared.
Yeva's family immediately turned to doctors, and soon after, the child began receiving rehabilitation. Thanks to consistent work, she began to speak again. However, the difficulties remained. Now the girl is 7 years old, and she still finds it difficult to understand spoken language, learn, adapt, and be independent in everyday life.
Recently, Yeva received the status of a child with a disability in subgroup A, with a diagnosis of childhood autism. The girl has been consistently working on her development. Yeva is engaged in speech therapy, receives sensory integration and ABA therapy, and visits the pool. This supports the development of her speech, communication, coordination, and independence skills.
Yeva really enjoys her water lessons — swimming is one of her favorite activities. Water calms her, brings her joy, and helps her feel more in tune with her body. She loves going to the pool. The girl is also enthusiastic about putting together puzzles and drawing, and she likes pets.
At the same time, Yeva needs regular classes and rehabilitation, and these are ongoing expenses for the family. A significant share of the budget goes to rent and basic needs, so it is very difficult for Eva's parents to pay for all necessary rehabilitation on their own. Please support the girl and help her continue on the path to independence!
