15-YEAR-OLD BOHDAN WITH CP IS WORKING HARD TO DEVELOP. HELP THE BOY ENTER REHABILITATION!
Bohdan Kutsyi was born after a complicated childbirth and experienced brain hypoxia at birth. Unfortunately, these complications also led to serious health problems. Therefore, since birth, Bohdan has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, convulsive syndrome, spastic tetraplegia, secondary microcephaly, and psychospeech development delay..
Bohdan spent the first 8 days of his life in the neonatal intensive care unit, in a state of drug-induced sleep. For the first 8 months, the baby's condition was relatively satisfactory – the boy was under constant supervision by neurologists. But later, Bohdan had his first seizure. Since then, he has been taking anticonvulsant drugs, which he has had to change frequently throughout his life due to numerous side effects.
Bohdan visits rehabilitation centers several times a year, receives consultations from doctors, and undergoes diagnostic testing. The main goals of therapy and rehabilitation are to alleviate the child's condition, help him adapt to the disease, and reduce muscle spasticity and pain. Bohdan is now 15 years old. He is a sociable and cheerful boy who is constantly striving to move forward.
Over the years of rehabilitation, Bohdan has become more emotionally active. He can move his hands more and more, hold his head confidently, and constantly tries to get up and stand. Doctors advise not to stop and to make rehabilitation sessions regular. Unfortunately, all the medical services assigned to Bohdan are a massive financial challenge for the family. Please help him get to the next rehabilitation course!
