3-YEAR-OLD YEVA HAS A SEVERE FORM OF CEREBRAL PALSY. HELP THE GIRL TAKE HER FIRST INDEPENDENT STEPS!
Yeva Ivanova is almost 3 years old, and from the first minutes of her life, this smiling, sunny child has had to overcome difficult trials. Yeva was born prematurely, weighing only 1630 g at 30 weeks of pregnancy. Due to premature placental abruption and severe bleeding, doctors had to perform an emergency cesarean section to save both the child and the mother. Yeva spent the first day of her life in intensive care.
Unfortunately, the difficult childbirth had serious consequences. Right after birth, she was diagnosed with central nervous system damage, cerebral depression, and anemia. About a year later, doctors confirmed a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. In addition, Yeva was diagnosed with convergent strabismus, hip dysplasia with subluxation, and speech delay (articulation dyspraxia).
Despite her severe physical limitations, Yeva is a very bright, calm, and gentle child. She loves watching other children. So far, she has been watching from the sidelines more often, carefully studying the world, than taking an active part. Yeva's greatest dream and passion is movement, but she still cannot walk independently due to muscle hypertonicity and spasticity. The girl has to wear orthoses and receive botulinum therapy regularly.
Yeva needs ongoing, intensive rehabilitation. Each course of classes (physical therapy, massages, hydrotherapy, and sessions with a speech therapist and an occupational therapist) yields results. Doctors are hopeful that regular classes will help her improve her motor activity and take the desired independent steps. Please support Yeva on her path to a fulfilling childhood without pain!

The goal of the project is to raise UAH 30,000 to cover the cost of a rehabilitation course at the Vigor Rehabilitation Center in Mykolaiv.
