10-YEAR-OLD MARK WITH CP IS TRYING HARD TO LEARN TO WALK ON HIS OWN. HELP THE BOY ENROLL IN A REHABILITATION COURSE!
Twins Mark and Bohdan Dutsyna were born prematurely at 30 weeks of pregnancy. Unfortunately, due to complications during childbirth, one of the babies, Bohdan, did not survive. Mark, due to prematurity, received a serious diagnosis – cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis. Since then, the boy has been fighting for two.
Mark is now 10 years old. He is a cheerful, intelligent, very patient and persistent boy. The child studies well, is engaged in learning English, loves everything related to music, and is preparing to move to the 4th grade of school. Unfortunately, Mark still cannot walk on his own.
Last year, Mark's family endured a tragedy: the boy's father, who had believed with all his heart in his son's healthy future, was killed in the war. Now Mark is his mother's only joy and support. "For 6 years, my husband and I struggled with our son's diagnosis. We always believed that our son would walk. Therefore, even now I have no right to give up. It takes a lot of money to treat our son..." – says the boy's mother.
Doctors recommend that Mark undergo regular rehabilitation 4 times a year. Full rehabilitation is the only hope for the boy to continue developing and to start walking independently. Please support Mark on his difficult path to his goal!
