10-YEAR-OLD IVANNA WITH CP, EPILEPSY, AND SPEECH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY NEEDS COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION.
Ivanna Navrotska was born at 30 weeks of pregnancy, weighing 1450 g. Unfortunately, the premature birth, delivered by emergency cesarean section, had negative consequences for the child’s health. Among the girl’s current diagnoses are cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and several other concomitant diagnoses.
Ivanka is now 10 years old. Despite the fact that the child needs ongoing medication, rehabilitation, and frequent hospital treatment, the girl is developing at her own pace: she has learned to sit independently, stand with support, and is receiving training and rehabilitation at a center.
Ivanka loves a variety of interactive toys, enjoys drawing and educational games, and loves swimming in the pool. Ivanna's mother is raising the child on her own, so planned rehabilitation and medical services for the girl are a serious burden on the modest budget of a small family.
