9-YEAR-OLD YULIA WITH CP HAS EXPERIENCED SEVERE ILLNESSES. THE GIRL CAN’T STAND OR WALK ON HER OWN. HELP HER GET REHABILITATION!
Yulia Palamarchuk was born prematurely as one of the twins. The premature birth had an extremely negative impact on the children's condition. Unfortunately, Yulia's brother passed away on the 20th day due to necrotizing enterocolitis. But the girl had to continue fighting for her health and survival.
"Yulia did not cry immediately after birth and breathed repeatedly. She was connected to a ventilator. She had anemia of prematurity, congenital bilateral clubfoot, and severe inflammation and necrosis of the intestine. She suffered sepsis... Now she is 9 years old, but she does not stand or walk," – says the girl's mother.
Even during that period, it became clear that Yulia would need a long, difficult course of treatment and recovery. When the girl turned 1 year old, an MRI scan revealed changes in the brain's hemispheres. At that time, her diagnosis was confirmed – cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis.
Regular rehabilitation sessions with specialists have yielded some results. Yulia has learned to sit independently for a short time and can already roll over from side to side. The girl does most of the exercises and classes at home. However, for Yulia to be able to get closer to a full life, she needs enhanced specialized rehabilitation.
Yulia's intelligence has been preserved. She knows colors and shapes, repeats words, loves cartoons and puzzles, and happily communicates with other children. Yulia needs regular rehabilitation to support her continued movement and development. Please help the family pay for her treatment and the next course of classes.
