10-YEAR-OLD OLEKSIY SUSTAINED A CNS INJURY AND NOW HAS SEVERAL SERIOUS DIAGNOSES. HELP THE GUY GET INTO THE CORRECTIONAL CENTER!
Oleksiy Dovbenchuk was born with severe brain pathologies. Immediately after birth, he was diagnosed with microcephaly and lissencephaly. Doctors did not give Oleksiy's family much hope and were sure he wouldn’t be able to walk independently, talk, or take care of himself. But the boy's mother decided to fight for every opportunity to improve the child's condition.
From the earliest months of his life, Oleksiy began to receive physical therapy and massage treatments. Rehabilitation using different methods and in different cities across Ukraine became an integral part of his life. Little by little, Oleksiy won small but very important victories. At the age of two, he learned to crawl. At the age of three, he learned to walk with support from a hand.
Oleksiy is a gentle and affectionate boy. He loves to hug, reaches out to people, and is ready to give a lot of warmth. Despite all the difficulties, he remains a very bright and kind-hearted child. Unfortunately, the trials in Oleksiy's life were not limited to basic diagnoses. In 2024, he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Later, epileptic seizures were added to the list of his serious health problems.
Right now, Oleksiy needs ongoing support and rehabilitation. Physical exercises, massages, and regular classes help keep his muscles in good shape, maintain the skills he has acquired, and improve his overall condition. Rehabilitation requires significant funds, which is a financial challenge for a mother raising her son alone. Help Oleksiy! Give the boy a chance to move forward!
