7-YEAR-OLD ANASTASIA HAS AUTISM AND CAN’T SPEAK. HELP HER GET THE REHABILITATION SHE NEEDS!
Anastasia Kim is 7 years old and has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. She is nonverbal and requires assistance with daily self-care. Together with her loved ones, she fights a persistent daily battle for her future.
Her parents noticed the first warning signs and developmental issues when she was about a year old and took immediate action. This marked the start of a long journey of medical examinations and consultations. Anastasia began regular sessions with specialists.
Complex rehabilitation is yielding noticeable, positive results. With support from psychologists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, she is learning new skills. However, because of the nature of autism, progress cannot be allowed to stall, even for a moment.
Anastasia is a bright and sociable child. She is open to interaction and loves to dance, expressing her emotions through movement. Her parents are confident that, with the right support, their daughter will eventually be able to speak and become more independent.
Any prolonged break in rehabilitation leads to regression—something that must be avoided at all costs. Unfortunately, the family’s financial resources are exhausted. Her father serves in the military. Please help Anastasia access her next course of rehabilitation!
