10-YEAR-OLD KARINA WITH CP AND A DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDER OF THE BRAIN NEEDS TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION. PLEASE SUPPORT HER AND HER MOTHER!
Karina Bratishko was born prematurely and experienced hypoxia at birth. She spent the first month and a half of her life in the neonatal intensive care unit. Shortly thereafter, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and symptomatic epilepsy.
Karina is being raised in a single-parent family and has an older sister and a brother. She is very close to her mother, who does everything possible to ensure Karina receives proper care, medical treatment, and regular rehabilitation.
Like most children with similar diagnoses, Karina is highly sensitive to atmospheric and weather changes; her mother calls her a "barometer" because the child’s body reacts to any shift in the weather with pain or anxiety.
Unfortunately, Karina still cannot sit up on her own and experiences painful spasticity in her limbs. Ongoing rehabilitation sessions with specialists are essential to her physical development and proper bodily growth.
Karina loves listening to fairy tales and watching children's cartoons with songs. She is growing up surrounded by love and care. Now, more than ever, she needs intensive physical rehabilitation. Please support her on this challenging path!
