UAH 800,000 FOR AN UPDATED AND REPAIRED TRAUMA SURGERY ROOM IN THE DNIPRO HOSPITAL!
The war in Ukraine is a challenge for all spheres of life. But it would be fair to note that doctors face challenges today no less than the military. Geographically and logistically, Dnipro has been the largest medical hub of the country all this time, and medical facilities in the city provide assistance to victims of hostilities.
Among them is the "Regional Medical Center of Family Health", which provides highly qualified assistance to children and adult patients, including those injured as a result of hostilities and displaced persons. The doctors of this center every day have to deal with multiple fractures and other injuries of patients who suffered from russian aggression.
The doctors work overtime, literally to the point of exhaustion, and the technical conditions of some premises until recently did not meet the requirements for using modern medical equipment. Thus, in order to be able to use the modern X-ray device, protect medical personnel and improve the quality of medical services, it was necessary to repair the surgery room in traumatology. There was no X-ray protection in the surgery room, which was extremely dangerous for doctors and patients.
Therefore, with the joint efforts of the Charity Exchange "DobroDiy" and partners, the services for the repair of the trauma surgery room for the further installation of a mobile digital operating X-ray machine of the C-arc type Carmex RK were financed with UAH 807,684.61. The use of this device allows the medics work more effectively with polytraumas and during complex surgical interventions, such as joint endoprosthetics.
Actually, the Carmex RK system was developed for use during orthopedic operations and procedures, as well as for methods related to contrast during surgical manipulations. The Carmex RK C-arc helps surgeons determine the relative location of structures during implantation, biopsy, embolization, and other interventions.
