Anna, who has Rett syndrome and cerebral palsy, received a verticalizer to aid in her recovery after surgery!

Another good deed became possible thanks to the sincere support of all the caring individuals who donated to help our young ward, Anna Vovkodav! The Charity Exchange "DobroDiy" purchased a modern Baffin Trio verticaliser with an electric motor valued at 51,000 UAH for 16-year-old Anna.

This device will assist Anna in gradually returning to an upright position following a challenging spinal surgery and prolonged bed rest. Verticalization is crucial for her body as it helps lower the risk of complications, activates blood circulation, enhances breathing, and improves overall quality of life.

Anna was born with a challenging diagnosis. Initially, doctors diagnosed her with cerebral palsy and later with a rare genetic psychoneurological condition called Rett syndrome. The girl does not walk or talk, but she has a genuine smile, knows how to enjoy the little things, and loves spending time with her younger brother.

Despite requiring constant care, special nutrition, medication, and complex surgeries, Anya maintains a zest for life and actively engages with her loved ones. She is currently undergoing rehabilitation and learning to restore balance in her body. The Verticalizer has become her new daily ally on this journey.
