Children with long stories of recovery who don't give up

As we scroll through our newsfeed, it can sometimes seem as if the stories of our young wards — their treatment, recovery, and further development —are all following a kind of protocol. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, and for some children, due to various factors, the rehabilitation process becomes an ongoing story of struggle and resilience.

Rehabilitation for such children and young people means enduring pain and getting up again. It involves muscles that don't obey, but you keep trying to make the same movement over and over again. Instead of holidays, there are physical exercises; instead of games, there are massages; instead of rest, there is a constant struggle. This is the path our wards are currently on. And thanks to you, they are not alone!

Sometimes, illness can interrupt the rehabilitation process. Yes, influenza or SARS can still affect even the most resistant individuals. However, no flu can stop the genuine desire to recover.

Rehabilitation is not a "convenient service. " It is a chance: to take the first step, to say the first word, to learn to hold a spoon by yourself.

And all this is possible thanks to those who support us.

You can help children who demonstrate every day that only they can overcome pain on our official website: https://248.dp.ua/projects.
