'I can hear!' - Finally, Timur Grosul can say these important words!

A few weeks ago, the 13-year-old Timur Grosul — a talented accordion player, athlete, and cook — faced the risk of losing his hearing entirely. Due to complications from chickenpox, he has been living with a diagnosis of chronic bilateral cochlear and sensorineural hearing loss for several years.

His hearing was rapidly worsening, and everyday activities were becoming increasingly difficult for him: music, conversations, and full communication. Waiting any longer was risky. The only way to avoid irreversible damage and complete hearing loss was to replace his hearing aids immediately.

On 18 June, Timur received powerful Oticon Xceed Play 2 BTE UP 675 120 hearing aids, worth UAH 68,480. While the devices were being set up, Timur and his family were overwhelmed with emotion. Now, Timur can hear music, the voices of his loved ones, and the world around him again. He can live without limits and return to his favourite pastime of playing the accordion.
