Platon Kononenko underwent a life-saving medical examination to monitor his epilepsy.

Eight-year-old Platon Kononenko has been battling epilepsy daily for several years. Despite seizures, fatigue, and regression, Platon has accomplished a great deal: he has learned to speak, started school, and developed hobbies such as drawing, growing plants, and cooking.

To support his development, it is vital to conduct regular medical examinations, including night video EEG monitoring. This technologically advanced and costly diagnostic procedure helps monitor brain activity, evaluate the effectiveness of treatment, and make timely adjustments to therapy.

On June 23, Platon underwent the first of the planned tests for the year. Thanks to your support, the family was able to avoid postponing this critical decision, which is extremely valuable. The next test is scheduled for December. For now, we are glad that the disease is not stopping Platon from achieving things, developing, and enjoying his childhood.

We thank every caring donor and everyone who made this possible.
