June 2025: A Month of Critical Assistance and Major Victories
June 2025 was a busy month for the Charity Exchange 'DobroDiy'. During this time, the organization achieved significant milestones and faced new challenges. We received many new requests for assistance and launched new projects. At the start of summer, we had to operate under conditions of increased security threats in the city and region due to enemy missile and UAV attacks every night.
However, every step our team takes and every charitable gift from caring individuals contributes to meaningful change. As always, with our active community of friends, partners, and donors, we complete several key projects. We rightly view the implementation of each project as a significant and victorious achievement, and we take genuine pride in it.
So, what significant things exactly happened to us in June?
- We won the National Competition "Charity Ukraine - 2024: Charity in the Defense of Ukraine." This is not only our achievement, but you have also contributed to this great cause! (Details: https://248.dp.ua/news/1560)
- We delivered a BMW X5 to a unit of the Ukrainian National Guard. This vehicle will play a crucial role in executing combat missions and enabling rapid evacuations. (Details: https://248.dp.ua/news/1563)
No less important achievements took place in the lives of our young heroes — children and adolescents with serious diagnoses.
Nine wards of the fund received essential medical support, including rehabilitation, examinations, and hearing aids.
- 13-year-old Timur Grosul (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1734) received the Oticon Xceed Play 2 BTE UP 675 120 hearing aids, which enable him to hear perfectly again and enjoy his life.
- 8-year-old Platon Kononenko (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1711) successfully completed nighttime video EEG monitoring, which will help fine-tune his treatment and support his development.
- 3-year-old Timofiy Tkachuk (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1725) and 13-year-old Nazar Vysochenko (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1648) received essential enteral nutrition, which supplies their bodies with all the vital substances needed for growth and development.
And these kids have either planned or already begun their rehabilitation courses this month.
- Mark Goloshapov (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1733)
- Oleksiy Tarabanovskyi (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1732)
- Myroslava Chelombytko (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1759)
- Polina Machikhina (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1752)
- Karolina Melnychuk (https://248.dp.ua/projects/1750)
Each successful fundraising project provides children with the opportunity to receive treatment, undergo therapy, undergo rehabilitation, and return to everyday life, free from pain and difficulties.
The total assistance provided in June was UAH 536,000.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, we have helped with a total of UAH 132,514,000, marking a significant milestone for us. These funds were allocated to the needs of:
- Defense Forces of Ukraine — UAH 93,347,000
- Medical institutions — UAH 8,547,000
- Seriously ill children and adolescents — UAH 16,676,000
- Humanitarian initiatives and social projects — UAH 13,944,000
Every day, thanks to your help, we change children's lives, support the military, and assist hospitals. On this journey, we are guided by principles, vision, responsibility, a sense of support, unshakable faith and hope, and the Ukrainian spirit.
We invite everyone to join our team of good deeds!
