Christmas miracle for Varvara: 12-year-old girl receives long-awaited hearing aids!
Real miracles are not loud words or festive decorations. They are created by real people who often overcome obstacles through joint effort. This is what makes amazing things and events so valuable. This is exactly the kind of miracle that happened in Dnipro this winter: a young ward of the Charity Exchange 'DobroDiy' can now hear properly.

Thanks to your support on Christmas Eve, we were able to purchase modern Oticon Xceed Play 2 BTE SP 13 110 hearing aids for 12-year-old Varvara Sych, totaling UAH 81,320. These hearing aids are more than new equipment for Varvara; they enable her to navigate space more easily, perceive speech, learn, interact with people, and feel more protected.
Since birth, Varvara has had several complex diagnoses, including intellectual disability, spastic diplegia, epilepsy, and astigmatism. When she was very young, doctors also discovered bilateral cochleitis and mixed hearing loss. Her family purchased the first hearing aids in 2015 at their own expense, and they served Varvara well for many years. However, her hearing condition later worsened, and doctors diagnosed her with grade III hearing loss.
Despite these challenges, Varvara is a bright, lively, and hardworking girl. She studies, undergoes rehabilitation, and learns about the world through play and communication. Hearing is a key tool that helps her stay connected to the world around her. We are grateful to everyone who made this Christmas miracle possible! Every hryvnia donated is a step toward a more fulfilling life for Varvara.
