11-YEAR-OLD BOHDAN WITH CP SUFFERS FROM SPASMS AND NEEDS REHAB!
The balance of unused funds in the amount of UAH 150 was redistributed to Levchenko Taras project.
"My son was born prematurely in the 6th month of pregnancy with a body weight of 840 g. From that day, his hard journey began," - Lyudmila, Bohdan Pidoprihora's mom, begins her story. "3 months of intensive care, 82 days on a ventilator, another 1,5 - in neontology. We were discharged at almost 5 months. And at the age of 1, my son was diagnosed with CP."
Bohdan is now 11 years old. He courageously fights for a full life, enduring many different procedures, massages and physical therapy sessions. The boy receives injection therapy, acupuncture sessions and other types of rehabilitation. Bohdan understands everything, but can’t speak because of spasms. That doesn’t allow him to fully chew and move.
The boy studies in a specialized school. Bohdan shows a desire for knowledge and learning, despite motor limitations. He learned to count, likes audio books and computer science lessons, wants to learn computer programs. Under the condition of continuous treatment, doctors predict a positive development in the future for Bohdan.
Only due to systematic training, Bohdan will be able to overcome the consequences of difficult diagnoses. Please help the boy!
