5-YEAR-OLD MAKAR WITH AUTISM NEEDS STRENGTHENED REHABILITATION!
"Makar is a long-awaited child. He is my everything! My wings, my inspiration, my meaning of life, - mother Yulia begins the story about her son. - Makar is emotional, kind, lively, energetic, skilfully climbs the gymnastic ladder, keeps his balance well, jumps on the trampoline with pleasure, and feels confident on sports equipment.
He loves the pool very much. He is fond of machinery, especially excavators and tractors, he has most of them in his collection." By the age of almost 3, Makar developed at the same level as his healthy peers: he began to speak, was interested in toys, children's books, and drank from a cup on his own.
Unfortunately, the boy fell ill with acute bilateral secretory otitis and acute adenoiditis. He was prescribed antibiotic therapy. After treatment, Makar lost almost all of his skills. The family put all their efforts into finding the cause of this condition. The answer was a disappointing diagnosis — autism.
The mother immediately began treating her son: Makar regularly visited a psychologist, speech pathologist, speech therapist, hippotherapy classes, etc. At the age of 5, the boy still does not speak, he lacks empathy, and has no sense and understanding of danger at all.
His self-care skills are at a low level. Now Makar is unable to eat and dress himself, and the boy's cultural and hygienic skills are in the process of formation.
Only regular classes with specialists will help Makar acquire new skills! Please help the family with the payment of medical services, because a mother raising her son alone may not be able to cope without your support!
