10-YEAR-OLD NAZAR WITH SEVERE DIAGNOSES NEEDS STRENGTHENED REHABILITATION!
Nazar Gubrienko was born during a difficult and rapid childbirth, but did not cry out immediately after birth. The baby developed bilirubin encephalopathy. After that, the child spent 1.5 months in intensive care, had convulsions and respiratory arrest.
Nazar was fed through a feeding tube, he was not gaining weight. After a year's stay in the hospital, the parents finally heard the verdict of the doctors - cerebral palsy. Although the head of the neurological department himself was not sure of the diagnosis. What exactly the boy is sick with is still a mystery, despite a lot of genetic examinations in Kyiv and Kharkiv.
"Despite the disappointing forecasts, we have achieved relief," says Nazar's mother, Olena. "Thanks to constant medical support and rehabilitation, Nazar gradually learned to chew on his own, his back became stronger, the convulsions stopped; the son began to understand spoken speech better."
Nazar is a smiling and positive kid. He likes to walk in the fresh air, draws with satisfaction and flips through his favorite children's books.
