5-YEAR-OLD IVAN WITH CP ACQUIRES EACH NEW SKILL. HELP HIM!
Ivan Klets is 5 years old. Unfortunately, the boy's childhood is overshadowed by complex diagnoses. The child has a severe form of cerebral palsy, delayed psycho-speech development and other diseases.
Ivan was supposed to be born together with his sister, because the Klets family was expecting twins. The second child died at 28 weeks of pregnancy. This caused the premature birth of Vanya. At birth, the baby did not cry or breathe. Weighing 1,610 g, he was admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit.
The first months of Vanya's life together with his mother were spent in hospitals. Every 6 weeks, they underwent examination, planned treatment, and supportive rehabilitation. The child was not even a year old when the diagnosis of cerebral palsy was established.
Now Vanya cannot sit, stand and walk on his own. Thanks to hard work with rehabilitators, the child started to crawl and talk little by little. Doctors strongly advise not to miss classes. After all, the smallest pause between courses can provoke regression, loss of acquired skills, return of spasticity.
The Klets family is asking for help from everyone who cares! In December, Vanya is expected to undergo a rehabilitation course. Help the boy overcome the consequences of serious diagnoses!
