5-YEAR-OLD BOHDAN WITH A GENETIC PATHOLOGY NEEDS REHABILITATION!
Bohdan Aldabaev is the second child in the family. He was born on time, but the doctors shocked his parents with the news - the baby has Down syndrome. Genetic analysis did not confirm the hypothesis. However, Bohdan developed with delay, did not eat on his own, did not gain weight.
Bohdan's family turned to doctors in Dnipro. 2 weeks of examinations did not lead to any results, so the Albadaevs went to the capital. In Kyiv, Bohdan was examined for 3 weeks, but, unfortunately, the doctors there could not establish a diagnosis either.
Only when the boy was 1 year old, it was possible to establish the cause of the pathology - Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome. This diagnosis entails a delay in physical and mental development. Despite everything, Bohdan is a cheerful, positive, active child. He likes educational toys. He communicates well with children and enjoys playing on playgrounds.
The Aldabaevs put all their efforts into restoring Bohdan. Regular classes with rehabilitators have borne fruit. Bohdan started to walk, but he still hardly understands spoken speech and does not speak. So there is a lot of work ahead. Parents want to socialize their son as early as possible, help him adapt and acquire as many skills as possible.
The family is unable to pay for all the necessary treatment measures for the son. In addition to rehabilitation, Bohdan needs a special lactose-free and gluten-free diet, regular expensive genetic tests. Please help the family pay for the rehabilitation course scheduled for February!
