6-YEAR-OLD ARINA WITH AUTISM NEEDS REGULAR CORRECTIVE LESSONS. PLEASE HELP THE GIRL!
Little Arina Kovalenko was born during natural childbirth. From the first days of her life, the girl was very restless - she did not eat well, slept, and often cried. The child did not begin to speak in accordance with his age, spoke imitating speech, did not respond to appeals.
The girl's mother immediately sounded the alarm, but her relatives reassured her, believing that the child still had a long way to go. When Arina was 3 years old, the family turned to a neurologist. The doctor diagnosed mental retardation and prescribed nootropics.
After that, the girl's mother began to independently look for specialists, to learn about the diagnosis and rehabilitation classes for Arina. After some time, the psychiatrist of the Regional Hospital corrected the diagnosis — expressive language disorder with cognitive impairment. The girl was prescribed sedatives.
Several months have passed, the appointment of treatment did not bring the expected results. The family consulted a geneticist and a neurologist. According to the results of all necessary examinations and tests, Arina was diagnosed with child’s autism.
Currently, the girl eats a special diet, regularly passes laboratory tests, takes medication, works with rehabilitation specialists. Arina is an active girl. Regular classes and drug therapy improve her condition.
The child began to speak better, learned new words and phrases. She likes to play with toys, travel, and watch cartoons. Arina needs a planned course of study, because she needs to improve her understanding of spoken speech, work on cognitive skills, etc.
